Before we begin, let’s have a quick introduction to the two different versions of the desktop app.
The Version With Tasks/Projects
With this version, you can track time to tasks and projects. The projects are shown on the left-hand side of the Time Doctor app while the tasks are on the right.
The Version Without Tasks/Projects
If you aren’t concerned about tracking time to tasks/projects, you can enable the no-task version of the app and simply track your time.
The task/no-task settings can be enabled/disabled on the Company Settings page. Scroll down to Configuration and look for the "Use projects & tasks" and toggle that on or off.
