This is an issue related to the operating system. It’s usually related to a Windows update or a missing library. Follow the instructions below, which will resolve this issue most of the time.
Update Windows
Make sure to run all critical/important Windows updates. Once the updates are installed, restart your computer and try to install the app again.
Install/repair Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015
- Go to Control Panel / Programs and Features
- Look for C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015
- Right-click on it and select Repair

If the repair doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015
- Go to Control Panel / Programs and Features
- Look for C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015
- Right-click on it and select Uninstall
- Restart your computer
- Check for any registry issues (something like CCleaner can help you with this)
- Install Visual C++ 2015, both 64-bit and 32-bit, using this link
- Restart the computer again
- Check for any Windows updates
- Try installing the Time Doctor app again.
