Before we begin, you need to understand the two different versions of the desktop application.
1. The Version With Tasks/Projects
With this version, you can track time to tasks and projects. The projects are shown on the lefthand side of the Time Doctor app while the tasks are on the right.
2. The Version Without Tasks/Projects
If you aren’t concerned about tracking time to tasks/projects, then you can enable the no-task version of the app and simply track your time.
You can enable or disable the task/no-task settings from the Company Settings page. Under the option “User projects & tasks in this company?” you can select “Yes” to enable the task version of the app or you can select “No” to enable the no-task version of the app.
