Before we begin, let’s have a quick introduction to the two different versions of the desktop app.
1. The Version With Tasks/Projects
With this version, you can track time to tasks and projects. The projects are shown on the lefthand side of the Time Doctor app while the tasks are on the right.
2. The Version Without Tasks/Projects
If you aren’t concerned about tracking time to tasks/projects, you can enable the no-task version of the app and simply track your time.
The task/no-task settings can be enabled/disabled on the Company Settings page. Under “User projects & tasks in this company?” select “Yes” to enable the task version of the app or “No” to enable the no-task version of the app.
